my 87 heavy of a pig 4runner is getting rig at 13 mpg on its 22re with an auto .Even with a new head and basically rebuilt kit execpt the piston rings and bottom end of it .Still gets crappy fuel economy . Should of never sold my Neon for this rig . oh well live goes .

Nope it runs perfectly fine and purrs like a kitten when it fires up. What sensnor do you suggest looking at ? we have already swapped out the cold start one that underneath the thermostat area. A buddy of mine who works on these a lot also told us to recheck the valves , if we have them too...
