Having your car in the garage does not inhibit rust. It actually can cause it. Especially in winter.

Well - I am hoping this is the last time its in the shop. Its that liftgate BS - where it falls on you in cold weather. The motor and electrical systems are actually ok. Just the hydraulics now :)

If my Sienna would only be out the shop long enough to drive to a place where there are avalanches, I would probably feel safe too. But for now, the Sienna is keeping my family VERY safe. At home - because it's at the dealer again!!

It will rub - easy cutting. And you need spacers.

This is my #1 pet peeve about Toyotas. The sheet metal they use sucks. No way to get around that.

Oooh is the wiring harness something crutchfield would have? all other stuff easy? like the actualy nav antenna and speed sensor? shouldnt the speed sensor be the actual antenna anyway?

I am talking OEM nav. Thinking about taking my Gen 2 nav out and getting whatever the latest one is. Is it a plug an play? or is it major overhaul? Anyone done it?

Guys My 2003 4runner hitch has a bad case of rust on it. Is this something the 5 year rust coverage should cover? Anyone had anything similar covered? Its more than just surface rust. About 1/4 inch of rust on one side. Thanks!

The highlander AWD is that crappy one that's in my AWD Sienna, where the wheel with least resistance slips - sometimes helped by ABS to stop it. My Sienna has done well in snow - especially with snow tires. The 4runner 4wd system uses torsen differential - which is a much better 4wd system...

I saw that come across my bloomberg screen. I guess I will just fix the heater issue myself. Just signed up for alldatadiy.com - gonna get that TSB.
