I'll take a look at that. Would that be affected in any way if the transfer case was replaced?

btw, the noise isn't very apparent when im driving at higher speeds but when I come to a stop light you can really start to hear it. Any ideas?

update-fixed So I thought i'd post the fix and let everyone know what it is in hopes of someone having the same problem in the future having an idea of what the problem could be. It turned out to be the Transfer case. I found a used one in good condition at a salvage yard for 275 and the 4wd...

Can anyone tell me where the 2001 4runner limited model Front Differential Sensor is located? I have read some threads stating the approximate location however those were primarily for 99 limiteds and when I check around that area under my 4runner I can't find it for the life of me. Any help...
