Hi Triangles. If you unplug the knock sensor she throws the CEL on after a few hundred yards, she really doesn't like it !!!

Running better. But still coming up with code 52, knock sensor despite directly wiring knock sensor to ecu pinout. Maybe I do need a knock sensor ??? Has anyone else had problems with them ?

Reading the flash codes is pretty easy. you just need a paperclip or a piece of wire and go into the Toyota diagnostic socket. Bridge pins E1 to TE1 and turn ignition on . The CEL light will blink . Eg 2 long blinks followed by 4 short blinks or flashes tells you you have a CEL code 24.
