What will happen if we remove the cross pipe entirely and block of the manifolds completely?

The cross-over design on the 2nd gen sucks really bad. Can the crossover be relocated? I know there will be fabricating involved but wouldn't you think it will be a cheaper route than getting set of headers? Just wondering....

I spoke to Nick Johnson at Doug Thorley. He says since the headers are designed for the 4 wheel drive it should fit in my t4r 2wd as long as my torsion bar sits above theis a-arms. Can someone confirm this?

Hey guys, I went to Doug Thorley's website and the headers are available only for the 4WD. Mine is a 2wd.

Do you still have the washer reservoir?

It's good to know there others wrapped their crossover pipes and serves its purpose. However, I will have someone do it for me, I'll bring it to a shop. What is the best thermo wrap out there? Just wan to say thanks for everyone's input.

I understand that the headers will make a world of difference. My question is thermo wrap should make a difference too right?

So far the truck is in working order. I found a blown relay (AM2) and replaced it. I was told that that relay powers the engine circuitry. When I bought my new battery, before I found the bad relay, the truck fired right up but soon die if you let it sit for more than two hours. I replaced the...

So how about it? If I thermo wrap the crossover pipe it will definitely reduce exhaust heat.

Wipers are now fixed.

I found a new relay in pepboys.

Do pepboys or auto zone carry this relay? I called them up and they have no clue.
