The muffler is completely rusted out and fell apart. Yeah the output is completely disconnected.

I think following the replies, I will not do a frame swap. I think my best optiont is take the body off the frame and restore the entire frame (and do the hole welding in the frame while I restore and repaint it).

I wasn't able to look at the car, and I signed sold "AS-IS". I purchased it because the body and interior looked (and are) clean, and also history showed only two owners and no accidents. Wasn't expecting this amount of rust though :(

I have the Yokohama Geolander AT-S on my land cruiser, and I would get them again. Excellent tires.
Toyo Open Country AT II are good tires, I will get those if I want something with a more aggressive sidewall.
