Bump. Dropping price to $300

Stock Limited 20" wheels in great condition with original tires with 50,000 miles on them. A bit of wear on the inside, but good shape and you can probably get another 10-20K miles out of them. Local pick up only. I'm in the San Gabriel Valley/Pasadena Area

Switched from a Trail to Limited. It's good for medium off roading...not rock crawling of course. Mud, snow, etc. you're fine, although the stock tires aren't all terrain. I haven't upgraded them, but haven't run into too many issues with just moderate "get out in nature" types of off roading...

From Budbuilt: Aluminum is much lighter but much softer. It will bend easily and you can straighten it out a couple of times and then it could begin to actually crack. It is not going to rust but it is also not the best protection for your truck if you are doing a good amount of off-roading...

Thanks for the replies. It seems steel is more suited for off road application. I wonder why aluminum an option when it's not meant for the abuse that the undercarriage takes. I too wonder if the Lite Steel from Budbuilt would be fine for occasional or light off-roading. I'm not sure how...

Hi all, I'm looking into some skid plates, and have noticed that there are both stainless and aluminum options available. I'm assuming the advantages are avoiding rust and weight savings, but are they durable? I always thought aluminum was soft probably not good for applications like a skid...

I don't understand what's hilarious about it? Does it sound ridiculous? My wife and I rarely cruise around in the car together anymore, and frankly it's a lot of money that can be spent on house stuff, or saved for educational expenses, or spent on US stuff rather than ME stuff.

This is my weekend car, but not for long :sobbing: We just had a baby, and priorities change. I can't justify spending money on a "me" car, when that money can be used for so many family things. So now I'm buying my wife a new A8 with massaging seats so we can relax while we cruise around...

Oh man sorry to hear that one! The same situation happened to me years ago, but in a low sedan and in the rain. The light was green, but the driver decided to just make the left right in front of me. It scared the sh*t out of me! Glad everyone is okay.

When going up a hill my cruise control overcompensates and "floors it". I have remarked to passengers how annoying it is. I never used cruise control until recently, so I'm not entirely sure if this is normal for all cars or not.
