Hello everyone. My 4runner has been running great (2006 V8 Sport) but a few weeks ago while driving on the highway I heard what sounded like a bolt coming loose above me from the sunroof (I never use the sunroof so thought this was odd), and now get a rattle from the front edge of the passenger...

I had some noise in the back hatch awhile ago, dealer re-torqued the bolts and it went away so just another thing to check.

Congratz, beautiful Runner. My brother has an FJ and me the 4Runner, both are fun but I can see much better in the Runner while driving.

I just put FJ springs on my 2006, the rear springs are the same on both sides. As for the front springs, the driver side is just slightly longer then the passenger side if that helps.

Hi, There is a vendor that sells custom cut rubber pads/mats to go inside things like the glovebox, center console, etc...he custom cuts them so they fit perfect. I can't find him in search, does anyone remember who sells those? Thank you in advance. ~Trendari

You can puchase a new clear plastic shield that goes over the speedometer and gauges for like $30 from the dealer and put it in yourself, it's easy. I did mine.

Your Runner looks great! If you are interested, you can order the limited color matched grill from the dealer..it's only like $200 and really makes it look better in my opinion...I did it to my 2006 Red sport and love it. I also have the Revo 2's and love em. Take care.

I have done this once and will not do it again unless it's new. A used car MUST be physically inspected before you buy it. If you really want it...fly out there first and look the whole thing over before you agree to buy anything. It's the little things that bother me...things you don't see in...

The system where you just barely shut the rear hatch and it pulls itself in and closes is standard on all 4th gens that I am aware of.

Get the limited, the mileage is only just getting broken in so you will be fine. I don't believe the Sport's after market leather seats will be heated versus the Limited's standard heated leather seats...so they may be cold in the mornings for ya on the Sport.
