Mechanic recommendation for Phoenix, AZ

Hi guys,

I could use a mechanic recommendation for the Phoenix, Arizona area please. I live in northern Phoenix if that makes a difference.

Needing to install some springs/shocks and remove XREAS but I would also just like to get to know a good 4runner mechanic in the area for all my future repair/maint. needs.

For your suspension needs, I recommend Sierra Expeditions in Mesa - they are on Broadway just east of the 101. I had them do exactly what you're asking (springs/shocks/remove XREAS) on my 06 4Runner and it drives like a dream. They are Toyota experts there and they started their business by servicing Toyotas.

When it comes to mechanical issues, I go to a place called Dahn Automotive - also in Mesa. Weston Dahn has been the only mechanic to work on any of my Toyotas over the last 10 years and he has never let me know. He is a Toyota Master Mechanic, and he lives and breaths Toyotas. He builds some amazing Toyota based rock crawlers as well as Supra race cars.

Toyoworks on Hatcher in Sunnyslope is really good but as a result its a long wait to get an appointment. They do everything except alignments. They specialize in Toyotas/Lexus.

I also like the guys at Network Alignment on Cave Creek. They specialize in alignments and brake work.

Another good one is Cactus Auto Import on Cave Creek south of Cactus. Good honest guys with fair labor prices. They do everything and its not hard to get an appointment.

I went to them to have my rear axle seals done and they gave me 3 free oil changes.

I've been going to them for 2 years now and have been very satisfied. Honest and do good work. They're not the cheapest but less expensive than the dealer.

Another vote for Sierra Expeditions. I drove from Tucson to Mesa because word of mouth on many forums say they know what they're doing. I didn't need any mechanical work done but purchased a rack and some other things. Will is super friendly and will go above and beyond to help you.

Super good guy and the shop does absolutely phenomenal work.

I'm pretty sure he uses Network Alignment which was brought up earlier for his alignment stuff and they do a great job.
