You can make the front DCS Fox shocks from the Taco work on the 4runner. It requires re drilling the upper mounting holes.

Sequoia uses a 8.4" ring gear vs the 8" of the 4runner. I'm pretty sure the 3rd member won't physically bolt into the Seq axle housing either (different bolt pattern)

Glad I never sold this 3rd gen, so much fun out in the desert.

Are you sure you are unlocking and locking the center diff properly? When it is locked, turning will do what you are describing; binding and jumping. Unlocked would be smooth.

5th and 6th gen 4runners in the limited trim get full time 4wd with locking center diff and high\low transfercase.

They fit, went with Toyo RT Trail tires in 275/70r18 XL. These tires are only 43lbs each! Added E&E Off-Road replacement rock rings.

3rd gen 4runner has a 106mm bore, same as 4th/5th gen 4runners and FJ Cruiser. Canguro racing uses the 5 lug version, which I have on my LX570. This version has a 110mm bore.

Mounted to the factory recovery point locations. The OEM front skid crossmember was removed too.

The ones I was referring to are pretty rare. They were an optional wheel for the 2010+ 4runner, PTR45-35010. 17" x 7.5" x 6mm, center bore 106mm, M12x1.5 lugs 25lbs. Anyway, I picked up the set, they bolted on and cleared the Tundra calipers. Deciding on what tires to mount on them.

I was wondering if anyone has installed the rock warriors onto their 4runner, any pics? Would there be any issues with Tundra brake calipers? Currently I have 17" FJ cruiser wheels.

After some more testing the rear 5160 shocks are not good, they are not valved correctly for higher speed running. I'm going to rebuild my 2.5 Icon piggyback shocks and put them back on. Front 6112 are good.
