I was up Walker Valley in August. Unless you have a built runner, you aren't getting in there. Thanks to people partying and trashing the place, they gated all the trail entrances and piled rock scrambles on the sides. You have to be able to get over the obstacles to enter the trail system...

We need to set up another weekend! I am game for any and all between now and whenever. I can't make the 4th of October, but anything else is pretty much good to go. I have Saturday, Sunday, and Monday off every week. Let's keep this thing going.

I ride the ferry over from Edmonds every time. The ride ire self is about 20-30 minutes then about a 45 minute to the trail head. It is totally worth it! I can't make it on the 4th because I will be in Portland but November sounds like a blast! Get ready for some water though.

Anyone use 3M undercoating on the exterior of your ride? I took off the fender flares and want to spray the exterior panels.

The flare itself is toast...I have it zip-tied on right now just so my runner doesn't look weird. I want something a little more rugged that could hold up to some abuse.

My 3rd gen (2000) has what appear to be Limited fender flares. I took one for a ride against a stump today at Tahuya State Forest in WA. Needless to say, the stump won. I now realize (after taking the whole thing off and piecing it back together) that these flares are attached to the panels...

E-rating is the load rating on this particular tire. That is a 10 ply. Not sure if I need something that solid and if it would be good offroad.

I am looking at getting the Goodyear Duratrac LT285/75R16E1 126P B. This is the only load rating I can find available in this size right now. I am wondering if it is too much. Any ideas?
