So I pretty much have to replace the whole control panel, right?

The fan lever on my control panel quit working. It can move back and forth with no effort, and does not hit any detents or make the fan change speeds. In fact, the fan does not come on at all anymore. I am pretty sure the control cable that connects it either broke loose from the lever, or...
