between these two cheap remotes, I'd get the switchblade... But it still isnt as durable as an OEM -FOB remote currently out there. Buttons and plastic casing feel cheap...I guess we got what we paid for?:(

This retracting key-remote is a good concept, but the quality of the case and rubber buttons are poor quality. Programming the remote was easy. I havent got the key cut or programmed yet....Thank god it was only $60+ . This remote doesn't compare to the quality of an OEM VW/Audi key-remote...

a/v1 is right...the key needs to be programmed by the dealer. The remote function can be done by anybody...That eBay seller just sent the wrong style of key. *On the auction it does mention (in small print) that the chip needs programming by the dealer...

The eBay store sent me the wrong key and I had 2 send it back and they'resending me the right one....I'll let you know how it goes.

Our '08 we picked up pre-owned recently has the smell of dried piss when you turn on the vents with the fan on HI. It goes away after a while, but the next day the odor returns.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with these keys and this ebay store? click! I'm trying to avoid going to the dealer for a new key and remote...
