Similar experience for me in Canada. I was never able to get any apps to populate despite trying to set up the entune suite on a few occasions. I thought I might still have been doing something wrong - never asked the dealer etc. Good thread. Overall I agree - I just use android auto.

This started happening in the summer. It had gotten real dusty in there a few times. Maybe try a can compressed air around the edges of the knob and see if the scraping goes away. I got the same dual control in Canada ver Off Road.

Re: moving to a unibody design. I dislike the look (from rear perspective) of the lower control arms cascading towards the earth and runing the ground clearance and probably getting caught up in ruts. Think Honda Ridgeline. In all honesty you're right tho functionally probably not much...

Happened to me once in my 2020 with remote entry. I had gotten out and left it in reverse. It was a loud beep - 4runner did not like that. Fortunately it was sitting in about a foot of snow so it didn't drive away on me. Edit: also notice beeping if I open the door before turning it off.

Nice man I got my Barcelona Red TRD Off Road in October 2019. Still the highlight of my day when I get to get in it for a rip.

Another question is it also important to put in 4LO from time to time. I assume you guys aren't referring to doing that on the highway...

Re: seat squeaking. My driver seat squeaked one day. I found out it was because I had it lowered down vertically all the way. Pumped it up a centimeter and the squeak stopped. The brake squeak sucks. It's happening a lot in my climate this winter. Has been humid and about -10's C all winter...

Any issues I've had with android auto resolved with updating android auto and 'google' apps on my phone. Probably doesn't hurt to make sure software is updated on the vehicle as well. I have OnePlus 7 pro.
