Yeah that rubbery coating on the shims was missing in places and some dirt between the pads and shims had rubbed a couple spots on the shims pretty rough. So far so good with no more squealing.

Not totally true, SR5s came with the 5 stars as an option. My 01 had them factory. Coke bottles were standard on Limited and Sport editions. 5 stars I think look better, but if you want total OEM I get keeping the coke bottle rims.

What made you realize the hinge was worn? Rear passenger door is probably the least used door so that's odd.

I put 80k on a set of ST Maxx and they still had mileage left when I took them off, I was going a 5 tire rotation though. They're still in the garage actually, I could have probably got 100k out of those times. Religious rotations is a big key to even tire wear. I do mine every 5k miles.
