I have had the break shake on two 4Runners 00 & 01. I solved the problem with Bosch Rotos and the cheep house brand carbon matalic pads. The pads go away very fast, around 15000 miles. Pads are super easy to change. This has been working for about 10 years now. I think the harder more expensive...
