They are new axle, surface rust colors are different shade. New rust are brighter than the old(rest of the car). I swapped mine out and weeks later that’s how it looks. Mines were none oem cheap ones that performed well 5 months now.

V8 is the reason why I got rid of my 5th gen and revert back to 4th gen. I've never driven a 4th gen v6 but in the 5th, oh my, it was a slug. Had to press on the gas more just to have a decent acceleration. End up using more gas in the process.

Same settings. All speakers work. It sounds muffled or if you would cross the neg and pos wire on a speaker and it just doesn't sound in sync. Then again its all harnessed so it can't be crossed. I have no idea.

I cleaned the throttle body a while back. Wiped off the black gunk where the throttle plate was resting on. Battery was disconnected to reset the ecu. Up to today the idle was never the same again. Even with multiple ecu reset it Idles high and even higher with ac kicking on.

If you're having a whining noise(not squeak or squealing) it's because air is getting into the pump. Check hoses that connects to the pump or reservoir for leaks. If all hose connections are clean and clear, replace fluid as other said. If still present then replace pump. They are cheap.

Nope certainly not a Toyota thing. I just installed my avital which is the same as pythons and locking or unlocking works when the remote start is on. Does yours unlock in the meantime without remote start on?

I was confused at first of the question. Probably forgot to mention in his post. But you need to drop the exhaust pipe to remove the pan and filter. Pretty sure all the bolts are rusted to death.
