Would low oil on tcase cause it to not work when hot?

Well, I got stuck. No power to the front tires what's over. I had someone outside telling me there was no spin on the front tires. It was wet rock so it was very slippery so front tires should have at least spun a bit. Also, the 2h 4l 2l lever felt very "loose". Like there was nothing connect...

I have a 95 4runner 3.0 Automatic. Went offroading today and for the first 10 mins my H4 and L4 were working fine. Then it would not engage at all the rest of the trip. Once i got home i tried H4 and L4 and they worked fine. What would cause the 4x4 to not work aside from the ADD system...

Well....start with a full tuneup. Plugs,wires,rotor cap, rotor, fuel filter, air filter, etc
