Thanks so much for the tips... real dumb question (I have a lot)...how do i know the rack and pinon is bad? I can see the rip in the boot (hope that's what it's called) but the power steering fluid isn't low I keep checking it... do you replace just the boot? or since its so much labor it makes...

The actuator was toast! Got it all fixed thanks! But now I hear a rattle somewhere... Arrrrrgh...

The issue is when I hit the unlock button on the door panel or the key fob it doesn't unlock or lock (driver side door only all other doors work) unless I use the key outside or manually click it on the inside... Looks like I'll have to take a trip to the dealership... It's only fun working on...

Hey all- It's been a minute I have been real busy enjoying my 4Runner. Quick question anyone had any issues with the driver side solenoid malfunctioning when you use the keyless entry to unlock the car? I thought it might be a low battery in the key...wishful thinking I know, but changed that...

Great build. Plasti dip is very forgiving and easy to use, unlike learning to paint with runs in it... Watch 5 mins of YouTube clips on it and you will be an expert. I'll keep an eye out for your rig.

Congrats! I just did the same in March and I wanted to drive mine leaving the ceremony with cans behind it... but she thought a limo was more fitting?

They are 285's on the stock wheels... I think if you look a few pages back you can see pics of my truck with the lift on and the stock 265 size so you can get an idea of what yours will look like.
