Seems like that was the issue. I had to push on the brake pedal to get it all the way in. Once release it sounded like it ratcheted to the proper length and all seems to be good now.

Man, Ive had a set for my 04 since the original group buy. Just havent had the time/money to put them in. I even got a welder last X-Mas so that I could tack weld them to get them tiged by someone who knows what theyre doing.

A little over a month, 2 trips through the car wash and 2 rain storms. So far so good. Love the way these lights changed the front end of the truck. Now I just wish the paint would stop oxidizing. :(
