I returned the 4 channel LOC because my amp accepted high level inputs. I basically ran power from speaker side to the amp and then I bought rca to speaker wire and connected them to the output from the back of the stock amp. I left the stock amp and its wiring in place because I didn't want to...
I bought a 4 channel LOC. we will see if it works. I am going to try and keep the factory amp "hooked up" to power the factory radio and then tap into the wiring harness for the speaker output before the amp. this factory amp makes everything extremely complicated.
after doing more extensive research what im finding is that I might need a 4 channel line output converter instead of what I had for the sub. can anyone confirm?
Okay, here is the deal. I have 4 brand new 6.5 inch kicker ks 100rms series door speakers and i love them. okay great everything is hooked up boom fine.
NOW. I want to keep the stock radio and wire in the brand new 400 RMS 4 channel kicker amp that I bought to power the new speakers. I mounted...

My M/T has the same exact casting marks..... and leak. What I found that fixed it wasnt the most ideal solution but it was far better than dropping the tranny. I removed those 4 bottom bolts that show in your picture after I had drained the transmission fully and let it drain untill it stopped...
My buddy has a 40th aniversary with the triple lock he bought it for 2500 bucks! Not a shabby deal but hes been beating the piss out of it unfortunately haha

Hey there! If you're not looking to take the ring gear or pinion out, all you can really do is change an outer seal depending on the design of your diff. Depending on your application, having the driveshaft dropped and diff out of the way can make room for a couple of other maintenance items but...
if you have a whine your filter is clogged and needs to be changed. If this is done the whine will go away with my experience on my old auto trans it worked each of the three times as the trans go progressively cleaner.
Nope should just need the rear up at that point. if you can spin the front driveshaft without the truck jacked up then your tcase is in neutral anyways which should be the same at 2wd. Just make sure you chalk the wheels because youll need the vehicle in neutral in order to spin the tires by hand
my two pennies is invest in a 12mm box end wrench that about a foot and a half long, makes it cake to get the bolts from the TC and Flexplate. The thing you cant forget though is you can only get one bolt at a time, then you need to rotate the engine crank to reveal the next bolt. I just did a...
