I have the Karr sticker. They said they disabled it when I bought it. However if i open the door handles inside with the car locked from the keyless entry, it will sound an alarm. Based on the blinking of the immobilizer light when locked, it lines up with having a basic oem alarm, no remote...
I may have located one of the issues. In this picture you will see 2 arrows indicating a snapped wire. You will also see a t-tap in a square. It is my thought that this brown/green wire that is t-tap caused a sever in that green wire.
So I will fix that now. Wonder if this has anything to...
Thank you for the response and diagram!
I may be describing it wrong. In Socal not much use for these buttons. i believe that the red one i highlighted is the de-icer. that is the cable i tapped the green and grey off of.

I am hoping to get some guidance on an issue that I have been struggling with resolving.
The illumination for switches, stereo buttons and parking indicator on the console are out.
I was worried it was the ECM based on some threads here, but no code at kragen and everything else appears to...
I was checking the pull from the light when it popped. Continuity was tested later and found the issue of both leads showing closed.
Looks like both bulbs were defective. Short found at base of bulb itself when removed from housing.
Pic shows where I bent it back into place.
I had the multimeter on a hella 500. It popped the fuse when I turned the switch on.
I replaced the fuse and retested the light. The light works still, however hooking up the multimeter again pops the fuse. Here is what confuses me. To test, I upgraded both the bulb and replaced the...
No way man. Look at another company and solution for your needs. Mine is setup correct using their materials and it sags like crazy. Worse over time. It’s less a barrier now and more a cargo net. If you use a quick release solution like you mentioned, you are gonna be disappointed in the...
Urban living sucks for auto work.
In case you still need a spot. The top of the Home Depot in Hollywood has been useful for over a decade for auto repair I can't do in the street. Never had a hassle and no one is ever up there. I usually park up top, take the elevator down and go buy some...
I took the course that everyone here recommends in socal. I won’t use their name. I remember driving away disappointed and $300 poorer.
I’ve learned far more from talking to other people on runs and those are free.
Thanks. I need to hit up the junkyard and see if there are any 5th gens there. The piece that hugs the bumper to the truck needs replacing.
I’ll give it a go with crazy glue till then.

So looks like my bumper got pulled out or caught on something. The driver’s side fender seems to have sucked in a dent when the bumper popped out. There is no impact marks so I am hopeful that it may be a simple fix.
I don’t think I would be lucky enough to be as simple as drilling a hole in...
