Major coolant leak (Possible heater core failure)

I definitely can live without it. Even tho it’s around 40 in the morning and cold, I had the climate control set to fully cold this morning and no leaking or dripping too bad, but the main problem is the damn window fogs up SUPER bad even with the defroster, do you think looping the heater lines...

Major coolant leak (Possible heater core failure)

This repair might be the one that breaks me. I just don't know if i have the time or funds to deal with it, I've done digging on this website and others and I've come up with similar threads with similar issue, only one thread described my issue exactly, but it was from several years ago and the...

    WTB: 2 inch lift for a 3rd gen (1998)

Looking for quality parts to make a 2 inch lift on my 3rd gen. If you have anything from 5100 shocks, OME springs, etc. pretty much any lift that isn't rough country that's used but still in usable condition. Eibach, OME, Dobinsons, Bilstein ETC. I also am looking for a 3 inch lift in rear. So...

    Valve job needed

My bad i probably didn't phrase the actual problem right. Not sure the terminology, first time this has happened to me. I've also been super busy with work and so my correspondence with the shop is minimal. My dad has a garage where we could pull the heads, but i can't really take time off work...

    Valve job needed

Hi so over the past month or so my runner developed an intermittent misfire. It eventually got bad enough to run a code as P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire, i didn't think it was anything serious because i would drive it some more and the engine would smooth out and start performing somewhat normally...

Maximizing travel with stock LCAs (Mid travel setup)

I disagree that it's a dead horse, because there are still products that don't list this information or give concrete results. Have to turn to users who have bought them and scour countless threads to find some dude who says "Yea it rides good!" which doesn't give any measurments, data, or...

Maximizing travel with stock LCAs (Mid travel setup)

Hm, good to know. Stat wise they got me though, i'm sure a few milimeters is negligible though. I'm just looking for 2 inch lift springs with extra extended travel shocks mainly. Any company making those has a good design philosophy in mind. I get it why because a lot of companies aren't doing...

Maximizing travel with stock LCAs (Mid travel setup)

100%, every company advertises that you'll need aftermarket UCAs and they'll increase travel but when you watch his videos you see when he moves the suspension up and down with a jack, the limit is almost always first, the shock tube length that stops it from traveling down more, then beyond...

Maximizing travel with stock LCAs (Mid travel setup)

Ok so this is a topic that has probably been covered a lot, but i want to dive back into it. I've been gathering tons of prerequisite information and i think it's worth a shot reexamining for these trucks and the aftermarket parts available for them. Two best pieces of info i've found so far...

Do you think I gained too much positive offset with these new wheels?

I figured there might be a strength advantage to running a thicker spacer. I was thinking of running the BORA .75 inch spacer, it's a bit harder to come by and a half inch thinner. I was hesitant to buy it though because spidertrax look the best. They got chromoly studs and they look absolutely...

Do you think I gained too much positive offset with these new wheels?

I see. Well i think i'm going to just keep these wheels with no spacers. Spidertrax would be the second option but they're almost the cost of some Level 8 aluminum rims that look decent. (300$ vs 590) and i wouldn't have any wheelbearing stress or have to worry about torquing).I think my stance...

Do you think I gained too much positive offset with these new wheels?

TY i picked them for looks purely. I really love the way they look. A 20mm spacer would be perfect. Any brand recommendations? I don't wanna go cheap on spacers and lose a wheel. I also have extra deep lugs i believe, would i need wheel longer studs? I'm doing maintenance on the truck next week...

Do you think I gained too much positive offset with these new wheels?

Works for me! haha, all I'm putting up there is gas tanks anyway. I don't like carrying stuff on the roof, but I also don't like storing gas in my cabin. It's a cheap non permanent solution! Also personally not a fan of those swing out metal gas tank holders people put behind the hatch...

Do you think I gained too much positive offset with these new wheels?

So I have a 98 SR5 I've been fixing up since last October and I bought wheels for it that are 16x7 cause I had always planned to put 265/75r16's on it and i liked the look of a few I saw online with these Tacoma rims. I just found out the stock offset is +15mm, or at least that's what posts on...
