Thanks for the tips. I was thinking of cleaning the MAF and maybe running some Seafoam through it to see if that might help. I haven't changed plugs and wires. I'm the second owner and I've had it for two years now. I'm sure it's time to replace those as well.

So I hop in the 4Runner the other day to run some errands, start it up and it idles a little rough, then has some hesitation and a slight miss under acceleration but only at low speeds. The miss goes away above 30mph and runs just fine. Starting it again after my first stop....no rough idle...

That looks really good! Nice work. I've been giving some serious thought to painting my plate frame as it has some peeling issues. Now I'll have to decide if I want to deal with what seems to be a major pain in the ass to get it off. Hmmmm.....

Like others I'm very concerned now. Mine is approaching 213,000. It has a little shimmy at around 70 that only occurs when the temps get above 40-50....weird. Wonder if it's trying to tell me something? You think that could be my problem? I'd hate for a ball joint to fail at highway speeds...

If the other instrument panel lights are like the one I just replaced behind my A/C controls, they have a little green rubber cover over them. Imagine a light bulb condom. Not sure about the others as I haven't had to change them yet.

I like the larger flares too, but agree that they look best with bigger tires. The black textured plastic ones might work for me. They're not as wide as the typical color matched versions (I think they came on the limited). Either way I need to fix the little bit of rust under them before it...
