yea thought about that.. but didn't want to deal with another broken antenna in the future..and don't care about power.. eliminate source of future headache. how do i pull out the antenna wire

hey guys..took 4runner to car wash, forgot to put down antenna.. ERRRR..broke. replacing it with a solid rubber unit.. was able to go in the fender well and unbolt the old motor and remove the mast..and unplugged the motor. followed the antenna wire into the car.. don't know how it travels to...

how much for the remote key shipped to chicago.. i bought one on ebay..couldn't get the dam thing to program.. didn't feel like paying someone to try..tried the instructions like 100 times! ..maybe it was the remote itself i bought..willing to try yours if its to pricey. email me...

any suggestions? seems like the right remote - just unable to pogram correctly? could it need a new battery? seems to respond to the system - ..so didn't think that could be the issue.

i bought it from an ebay member who says it works. plus it seems to respond to the remote; but it cycles twice indicating that it didn't take... any hints? I did the steps several times; I think I am doing it correctly..
