Power antenna issue..

hey guys..took 4runner to car wash, forgot to put down
antenna.. ERRRR..broke.

replacing it with a solid rubber unit..
was able to go in the fender well and unbolt the old motor
and remove the mast..and unplugged the motor.

followed the antenna wire into the car..
don't know how it travels to the radio..

easiest way to disconnect from back of radio???

help apperciated. thanks!

why not just replace the antenna mast with another stock one? Alot less work than pulling out the entire motor assy

yea thought about that..
but didn't want to deal with another broken antenna
in the future..and don't care about power..
eliminate source of future headache.
how do i pull out the antenna wire

If you dont want to put the motor back in ever, just cut the cable. Other than that you need to pull the radio and unplug it from the back
