Last night as I was driving, a huge chuck came off and now the seat pop is back. I'll patch it up tonight and post pictures of the area. Hopefully that cures this problem.

Let me confirm in a week's time that the damn noise is forever gone and I'll take the seat back out and snap some pics. Irritated about the noise, I just threw the whole stick in various areas where the bars moved. This is what I used: My power seats still move front - back and up - down.

sick of it.. after the third seat replacement, the issue CAME BACK! Fed up, I figured out where the seat was moving and threw some JB Weld Metal Putty which bonds to metal and so far no pops/creaks. There was no problem with the rails as the TSB thinks there is.

Re: i pod & satellite You just need the stock toyota siruis interface. The same company (eclipse) still produces the headunit in UR. However with this unit, you can have BOTH iPod and Siruis/XM hooked on at the same time. Siruis though might be going down the tubes so hold off for a bit...
