That's about the best picture I could get. There is an upload size limit. It is about 2 inches long. Turns out it is non metallic as are the particles.

After I tested it, it is non metallic. I scraped all those particles off it. They are also not metallic.

Edit. It is not metallic after testing. I have a 2002 with about 210k miles. Bought it with 190k. Unsure of maintenance history. Recently did a compression test and all cylinders were spot on. (I had to do one on my other car so did one on the 4) I'm guessing that the particles are wear...

As a follow up. I have an 02 sr5 rwd. The ujoints are clearly toast my part number ends in 60100. so today, I decided I'd go with the oem. Checked Toyota parts. 80 bucks is msrp on line. Found spicer for 40. Ugh I'll do it. Then I started calling stealerships. YOU MUST BE ****ING...

Just wanted to jump in here. Recently picked up an 02 sr5 2wd for 1k. Body in very good shape, paint a little tired in a couple spots. But it needed brakes, timing beltand had misfire code. Those are all pretty easy. Just did tundra brake upgrade today. Anyhow it also had a driveline...
