Appreciate the heads up. Dug around in there a bunch and couldn't find anything. While the old one looked a little ugly, it was in one piece and isn't the original rubber one which is promising.

So, turns out the bushing was just $hi^^y. Probably at the upper end of the tolerance or something. Grabbed the old one which was in decent shape and threw it on and it dropped right in. THAT, was frustrating. Thanks for the prompt replies. Best,

Sorry, left out some details. Manual transmission, white/opaque bushing on the end of the shift lever. Seems to not want to seat into the tranny interface. I'm about to sand this thing down a bit but don't really want to. Its a bear and I can't seem to get a solid force straight down to seat it.

All, Can't seat my shifter after new bushing was put in. There does not seem to be a reason why as it just has to line up with the pins and drop in. Has anyone had to put a LOT of force to drop it into place so you can put the sprung cap on? Kind of a silly question but I'm sure someone here...

I think I misunderstood your question. The tape IS above the lower side where the paint is but it is inside the glass of the headlight. Circled here in red.

No this is inside the glass. There is a reflective tape that peels off.

Hey everyone, got both headlights to a 1999 3rd gen. Both have peeling reflective tape, the passenger side is only slightly peeling while the drivers side is jumping ship. Pics tell the story, fixable but a bit of a PITA. That being said, they are OEM as far as I know.

All, I recently got new wheels and no longer need these spacers. Had them on my 3rd gen with no problems for 6 months. $100+shipping. Hardware included.

I have front struts and coils in my garage that I just swapped. They have spacers too I can send. Cost of shipping and they're yours, I certainly don't need them. Might be able to find the rears but not sure, if so they're yours too.
