Thanks for the help guys, I haven't put eyes on the vehicle myself but he said both front struts and both rear shocks were leaking. The customer also wants to do away with the system, so I was just trying to help him out. He isn't wanting to lift it so they are just going to try some OEM style...

Great thread... I'm kinda in the same boat as I have been considering a GX IF the new Bronco doesn't meet my needs or if the next 4Runner takes forever AND I don't like it. My issues with the GX are only the radio/nav unit not being able to be replaced with known aftermarket unit and the cargo...

You are only seeing sports on the road because that's all that's being sold right now. The big Bronco isn't out yet.

I went and sat in a few of them at my local Ford dealer. They had a showcase going but you couldn't drive them. The pick of the back seat is with the front seat pretty much all the back to a position I would drive, I'm a pretty big dude lol. Inside it does have a bit more room than the 4runner...

I sell dozens of different brands of tires and every tire maker has tires in the lineup that I like and don't like. We are a "Goodyear" store and have a few customers who ask for Cooper's - which we see a lot of Cooper truck/SUV tires that cup up on the inner tread. Some of the car and UHP tires...

If the next 4Runner is in fact a hybris..it may take the 0W8 oil, which some of the BMW's are supposedly Specially designed for Hybrid (H.E.V) and Plug-in Hybrid (P.H.E.V) vehicles, according to Motul. But, Toyota has also considered using it in Canada in extreme low temps..... all speculation...

I wouldnt even expect that tire to perform well off road. Yes its got lots of grooves, but they arent cut in a way that promotes cleaning out the tread. It MAY look cool but dont expect it to be a good tire, last long or really do much in the rain.
