    Trd pro lift question

I used Plasti-dip, you can find it in any local hardware store in the painting section. I did the Toyota in the front and the 4Runner on the back gate with the symbol as well. Here is a thread (there are many) where they show some before and afters. It basically covers it but it can be pealed of...

    4runner TRD Pro

Congrats and welcome! There are a few of us running around in this area, but I haven't seen the cement color yet. I drive through Landsdowne several times a week to get to work. I'm pretty easy to spot in the inferno with the Gobi rack/ladder.....if you see me, feel free to say hello! :guitar3:

I walked out of the office to this yesterday after work. Looks like old Lucille made a friend while I was working! :bravo:

Yes I have the Toytec lift which is a larger plate under the coil-over in the front and new spring for the rear. It sits about 2'inches taller that a standard TRDP.

They do stick out enough to prevent other doors hitting the rig in my opinion. I have the 1.25 spidertrax spacers on mine and it's almost as far out as the tires.

Shrockworks sliders finally came in after 7 weeks and the Gobi high lift mounts as well.....those took 3 months.....and they were supposed to be "in stock". They didn't even ship them until I spoke to management, then it took them three days. :AK47: Gobi that is. Great product, not so great...

    Front Runner Rack Options

I'm not sure what you mean by slats, but the Gobi has moveable cross bars if you order them that way, or fixed (welded). You can also order them with a 3/4 floor that has the 1/4 removable sunroof insert, so you can have the best of both worlds. It's hard to eat that upfront cost for the Gobi's...

Must have (Cheap) accessories for your new 4runner!

Ok, in the pic below with the yellow circle, it shows the plastic cover location on your seat. Remove that, it simply pops/slides forward to remove them. In the second pic you will see the bolt I am talking about, remove both on each seat but only the front. You might need to loosen the back two...

I did, but it's on the bottom of page 6...just go back one page. :)

Must have (Cheap) accessories for your new 4runner!

My issue with the seat being adjusted at that high of a setting was that on long trips it cuts the circulation off in your legs. (think sitting on the can to long)I drive 4 hours twice a weekend, every weekend and this was a gods sent. My wife also has MS, which causes her legs to tingle and go...

Must have (Cheap) accessories for your new 4runner!

Yes, I took the front two bolts out of each front seat, took them in the hardware store and bought a bunch of larger washers to handle the weight etc. I wanted a larger washer so the seat post was completely supported and not teetering on them. I think I ended up with 5 after toying around with...

    Trd pro lift question

I have the Toytec spacer lift and run the spidertrax spacers with no rubbing. The rake does stay with this lift and really can be only altered by changing the front coil-overs with the true Bilsteins adjustable's, not like the ones on the TRDP that come stock that are not actually adjustable...

ALL Owners of the Gobi Stealth Rack: Here's your chance...

I installed my Gobi in February and here is my feedback so far... Rack and ladder-use 2 people min for ladder..the rack mounts are easy, lifting the rack up takes two people but three is way better. (People over 5'10 is helpful) Wind noise-yes there is some, but if you aren't super sensitive...
