Doesn't seem to be. It seemed to have started whether I'm on the gas at pretty much constant gas pedal pressure, accelerating or braking.

Drilled out a rusted and seized fog light screw a couple of weeks ago, found a good cover and gasket off another busted housing, so replaced the bulb, swapped over that stuff to my foglight and bolted it back on the truck.

In that case, 4WD was still engaged when the blinking commenced.

Just went in to TorFab last week for a bit of work on my 4Runner. I need to go back for some more work to be done on it and they are now booked through August. Good for them, great shop, you can tell they are a great bunch of guys who knows their stuff and really treats their customers right...

Well, not really. Truck wasn't cranking, tested battery, relays and fuses. Tested that starter was getting 12.3V. Did research on here and figured it was the plunger and contacts, so I got the parts, dug into it and replaced those last week. Sweet, truck cranks and starts right up...

Don't worry, it's there, this angle just makes it hard to see. If you look between the floor jack and the piece of wood, you'll see the black jack stand hiding behind the floor jack and with the front cross member resting on it. But otherwise, yes, 100% agree, always jack stands. Safety first.
