I think the tire shop gave me $600 credit for my stock trail rims and brand new tires. Saved me some extra tax $$ when I upgraded to the K02s.

It would take me 50 years to accumulate some of the miles ya'll drive! Dam! Just crossed 10k. If the ski resort was closer, it would probably be like 3k.

You can make very fine adjustments to it up to completely shutting it off. It's really just comes down to finer throttle modulation by your foot depending on the sensitivity of the setting.

Wish it was easier to turn the traction control off. So many missed opportunities to drift and for donuts in the snow. :(

I noticed that my tires looked a little low and was surprised there wasn't a TMPS reading for each tire in the menu. Also the rear wiper coverage is Pathetic. Makes me laugh every time I really need it. Keyless entry and push button start should be standard.

Literally no idea but I get 16 mpg driving up and down mountains in the snow. I can't leave the range predictor mode on because I hate the ECO meter so dam much.

This thread is definitely a good example of the over enthusiastic nature of this forum. I love my 4 Runner but I can't imagine owning more than 8-10 years max. I never run out of fuel, but beyond that the fuel level don't cross my mind.

Purchased the TSO w/ letters back when it first went on sale and I'm still happy as a clam. The older I get the less I look back into the past for regrets. The stock market right now is really testing my patience however. :mullet:

I only drive mine in the salt and snow here in Utah, so I can only imagine what lurks underneath. My rock sliders were completely rusty by the end of the first winter. :rain:

I have a ton of use it or lose it time off before the end of the year so I take Tues and Thurs off if I can, plus skiing the weekends. For clarification most of our storms here in Utah are of the powder variety especially at higher elevations (6000 ft plus). So driving though heavy wet snow...

Tires make all the difference. I skied every other day here in Utah the past 2 weeks (100 miles round trip). My resort was getting 10+ inches of snow every 3 days. Only had to go into 4-Hi once because I was behind a few Subarus that were going extra slow. BFG K02s worked like a charm.

Just for completeness wrap electric tape on the trunk latch point. I did this and all my squeaking and bumping noises from the rear area went away. I found this mod in another thread and it's been life changing to say the least.
