I caught a break and my company transfered me to Sacramento. No more cold starts! No rust out here either. I will have to leave my trusty and rusty 4Runner behind and get a new one out here.

last year I had to drive to the airport when it was -36 F. I don't plug it in or anything. Turned over after a couple of seconds. Got to the airport, go on my flight. When they put the "de-ice chemical" on the planes wings it fooze on contact and the flight was canceled. WAZ

Which gas I have the 4.0 V8 in my Lexus. I drive it a lot. Some weeks over 1,500 miles. I do seem to get better mileage with the premium but not really sure. Bob

I have a 91 Lexus with a V-8 and they recommend the use of Premium. I have used mid-grade mostly and the car run fine. I haven't tried regular as I don't want the car to run like crap. Normally only about a nickle a gallon difference. Why worry about $2 on a fill-up. Bob

wish I got the cd I bought the full shop manual on ebay. wish I would have got the cd. I have the cd for my lexus and RX-7 so much easier to find what I am looking for. Also, just print out the page or couple of pages for you project. All these manual take up room. Bob

THANKS I am going through pretty much the samething. I just replaced the o2 sensor. During this episode did the check engine light come on? Mine is on after about 3 minutes of start-up and stays on all the time. Bob

I need to replace the sway bar bushings, bolts and all. They have pretty much rusted away on my 1990 4Runner. I have tried everywhere I know. Ebay, AutoZone, Checker etc... Where can I get without going to the dealer?

That is a good question. Some of the 4 wheel drive forum talk about it. I am thinking I would like to go that route to. I will check and if I find anything I will keep you posted. Bob

I went out and checked, my 4Runner is missing the sked plate that should me mounted in front of the Actuator. Where should the hose with the blue tip connect on this Actuator unit? Does anyone knowmwhere to get used parts on-line?

by blowing air into the hose off the ADD unit I was able to get the axle to go from two to four wheel (front hubs locking). Blow air into the blue hose got it to lock. Tan got it out. I also took the ADD off and ran power to it and was able to confirm that the solenoids would engage when they...

repaired head gaskets I have a 90 that had the head done about a year ago. Has the head problem been resolved? How long can I expect the fix to last?
