A wise choice. I just sold my G23 and I am looking for a good G19 to pick up. Used G19s don't surface much around here but I am hoping to find a deal. If nothing comes up I'll order a new gen3 G19 from my shop.

So are you guys still getting the smell only when you are hard on the gas? I can probably live with that, I just don't want to have it rolling down the road at 45mph. Right now I can crack the rear window about 8" and it only smells on the highway or when I punch it.

Well that is kind of disappointing. I thought folks had decent luck getting rid of the smell with this setup.

How do you like the rubber grip on the Glock? I have a G23 and I have been thinking about trying to improve the grip but you are pretty limited to what you can do to a Glock. I made the mistake of holding a Colt Defender the other day and I really want to get a feel similar to that.
