Update: After driving my stock TRD PRO for a week here is my MPG data. 18.5 MPG on the interstate averaging 75mph 17.5 MPG to and from work (no interstate) I did not try to drive efficient. I drove like I normally do.

I paid $40,003 out the door. Seems normal.

It does appear to be removable. I also looked under the front and it appears that the whole grill front can be removed.
