What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Joes Canyon Trail, Souther AZ. Took the nearly stock t4r up Joes Canyon Trail. Had a few times I was on 3 wheels and thankful for the existence of skid plates. I think I'm ready for that King suspension system and sliders right about now.

I love Adams. They are such a great company and all their products are outstanding. The only problem is I keep putting $ into car care products instead of Mods...

Magnetic Grey 4Runners! Lets see them!

Nearly all stock and did great out on rocky trails. Definitely wanting on board air and a lift. I miss the clearance and mods I had on my 3rd Gen. Eventually she'll get there.

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

After a 26 hour drive moving from Wisconsin to Arizona I went on a little adventure in Apache Junction, AZ. Man have I missed the west!

New wheels Took the wheels and rims to the shop in the 3rd gen and had them installed a few hours later on the 5th. Couldn't be happier with the cooper at3's. They drive just as good if not better than the stock bridgestones and the TRD Pro rims look soooo much better IMO.

    Trailer Brake Controller Installation

I used the stock harness that came with the runner. Connected the wires and plugged in took all but 5 minutes. Where you don't have it there may be an adapter out there where you won't have to connect anything but I'm not positive. Other than that all I used was velcro to mount the actual brake...

Towing experiences with your 5th Generation

I must say this thread is/was extremely helpful. Just drove my travel trailer (roughly 3600 ibs) from Utah to Wisconsin with stock 2015 Trail Premium. Having a WDH makes a big difference. Installed RedArc Tow Pro Elite trailer brake controller day the before I hit the road. Averaged 62 MPH.

    Trailer Brake Controller Installation

Just installed a RedArc Tow Pro elite with factory wiring harness. Dial fits right into Auxiliary port. Didn't want to have a full controller in the way when getting in/out and wanted to keep a clean look. This kept a low profile and very easy to use. Towed a travel trailer from Utah to...

    New to T4R with a 2002 SR5

Nice work! Another great thing to clean carpet, seats etc. is turtle wax carpet and mats heavy duty cleaner. Comes in an aerosol with a little scrubby. Leaves the car smelling brand new and removes deep stains. When I first bought mine that's what I used for carpet, seats and roof too. If you...
