Thanks but already worked out a deal with another dealer. Ended up paying about $700 over invoice. Not the best deal out there but it was good enough for me. Keep haggling on the trade in. That's where the dealers can pocket some serious money.
Mike,
We ended up going with Toyota of Burien. Great little dealership with a small town feel. They were serious about selling cars and closed on about five other vehicles in the few hours I was there. Nothing like the dealership downtown that acted like selling a vehicle was a burden.
Thanks for everyone's advice. For those speaking of the USAA car buying service, I tried using it at the first dealership and they wouldn't honor it. They said USAA's pricing is wrong even though I optioned the LE exactly as it sat on their lot and according to the sticker from their website...
Thanks guys, I thought was out of touch there for a minute. When they said 42k I countered with 39k and they didn't even give me a counter offer. We are hitting two other dealerships today and will see how it goes.
Hey guys, I'm new to 4Runners but not Toyota. I currently drive a 2008 FJ. We went to Seattle yesterday and looked at a 2010 White 4Runner Limited for my wife which was the last 2010 on the lot. It was fully loaded with Nav and 3rd Row seat and stickered at 44k. The lowest I could get them...
Thanks for the tips and I'll definitely use them. I thought the price was a little high. I had planned on offering $3k and working from there. Or should I start lower?
New guy here looking for some help. I'm looking at purchasing a 1st gen 4runner. It will be a daily driver and occasional trail rig for hunting and camping. What are the known issues or desirable options I should look for? This is what I'm looking at:
