LOL, thats great, Thanks for the info. I figured that it was the drive shaft, and guess now its time to take a look under the 4runner. I believe that the owners manuals are kinda vague on purpose. Thank goodness for web sites like this!! Bill

Ok I see that this has been brought up before in other posts, but I'm still not sure exactly what part on the 4runner is the propeller shaft. Is it the drive shaft? and if it is what do you lubricate and torque? Are we talking about the universals? Sorry about the lack of knowledge of terms but...

That Sucks, I used to feel the same way and never lock the cars in the drive way, till our neighborhood got hit, they got most of the cars on my street. we lost some cds and some lose change, but what got me P/Oed was they took the ashtray that the change was in. What are they going to do with...

Thanks for the links, have you used any of them? I like the ones that wrap around the back, theat would help keep bugs out. Bill
