I have an 03 with the Navigation and it has been giving me an error message saying that it cant read the data check dvd for about 3-4 months with it working very limited now and then. Would this head unit be direct replacement and fix said issue? Audio and controls work fine just no Navi display

Stock-averaging 320-350 a tank which is around the 16-17 mpg range with normal commute driving. Filling up at the E normally, so about 20-22 gallons. I would try something simple as adding in some fuel system cleaner or seafoam and seeing if that helps.

2003 Limited V8 OEM Navi, CLEAN and fully loaded with 155Kmiles got it for 10. Touch ups were made by the dealer after the photo was taken. (sorry for the sideways photo, not sure how to make it straight.)
