just to confirm the cause of the burnt oil smell. The valve covers were loose. Tightening has stopped the condition - for the time being

I was thinking that too. I've got a bit of oil around the bolts. But haven't had a chance to see if they are loose. The winter is a tough time to check this stuff out.

I wouldn't call it "fighting" - but you do have to correct when the road is uneven or bumpy. More so than my previous vehicles. Not a big deal though. It was like that before I put the 2" lift in. Seems about the same with the lift and the Air Bags in the coils.

I would say in the direction of the slope. Sounds like this is normal for these vehicles. That's good to hear. Thank you
