Sorry for the late reply on this, better late than never I guess lol. I can shift faster and the shifts feel much notchier and firm. Well worth the investment IMO.

Anyone on here replaced just the temp gauge in the cluster? Mine has been on it's way out for a while now, would drop to dead zero and if I flicked the plastic in front of it it would start working again. Now it's completely dead so looks like I have to replace the gauge itself, anyone done...

I'd get a Dremel in there with a sanding attachment and see if you can grind it down to the point you hit the top of the coil housing.

It should have the multi mode - potentially the actuator on the back isn't engaging so it's thinking it's the TC is in neutral? That wouldn't pop a light on the dash I don't think.

How did you check your fuses? If you didn't use a test light to test them I would buy one just to verify. I've seen fuses that looked good visually but failed when I had a test lamp.

Bought the Marlin short shifter kit last week and got it installed: Loved the way it shifted but absolutely hated how much taller the shifter was So I took it to a machine shop and got it cut back down to factory size and now it's perfect!

Love the 4Runner! Lucky you got an e-locker as well. Please tell me that the ARB from your 2wd is going to end up on this thing! Also I'm about to install the Marlin short shifter onto my truck - my seat and socket are OG so looking forward to the upgrade.

You got to live the reunion in real world time!! Even though the other post has way more info. I'm keeping my OEM wheel in case I decide to have it re-done down the road! I've already removed almost all of the leather so she's ready to roll.

It was new to me! Unfortunately Toyota has long discontinued OEM steering wheels. I've been looking for a nice leather wrapped wheel for a while, finally found this one on eBay and got it for $80.

Now that the A/C is buttoned up I'm starting to focus my efforts on the interior again. The old leather steering wheel has been disintegrating from the sun long before I sold it and it was time to get it replaced. Definitely feels weird having a new one on there but way overdue! Before...

Bad gas maybe? Also are ya willing to sell off any interior parts of that parts truck ya got?
