Short of taking the 97' 4runner to the dealer, I have not been able to locate the OBDII port in or around the driver's side floor area. I was told it was at the kick plate on drivers's side...NOT. I was told look behind the ash tray... NOT. I was told around steering column...NOT...I searched...
The Power antenna on my 97' 4runner went bad and would not go up or down. Mine has a broken ridged nylon cord that runs through a gear attached to the electric motor to raise and lower the antenna. Since the motor was not bound by the broken cord I could hear the gear running for a few seconds...
