To tell the truth, I did not look at any other tops. I saw a Can-Back, liked it, and bought one. Will be interested in seeing your finished interior work.

The body needed no work. I had it painted at a local shop and I put the fender flairs and the Can-Back top on. Have planned on redoing the interior but have not gotten around to it.

You want me to help you to make your Runner look sick also????? Nothing has been done to the interior except add gray sheepskin seat covers. Everything else is original.

Thanks guys. Sure would be nice if there was access to the sending unit through the floor above the tank.

Until today my fuel gauge on my '89 4-Runner has been intermittent. It worked fine down to half a tank then went to below 'E'. Today it does not come off 'E' even though full. Could be a bear to find. Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem and can give me a hint on where to start.
