Jason, I never bothered modifying the guard, too much hassle. I just sold it to a guy locally who had a V6 and it worked perfectly for him. Would still like to buy a rear bumper guard, but after my experience I am cautious of the same thing happening again.

I am not as centrally located as I am in Golden between Evergreen and Genesee (Chief Hosa exit). But I can offer garage space as I have a detached 3 car garage without much in it that we could use to work in. Just a thought as we contemplate the spring event.
