this cd, says 1996 to 2002 but when you look at the file structure all it says is 2002??? is this the same manual for the 97?

yeah i just bought my 97 with 126k on it and i dont see anything saying it was ever changed. i got to get it done.

i just got my 97' 2 weeks ago and it had 126,000 on it. it's up to 127,800 now. i put 150 miles a day on it at minimum.

so anyone have details on how to take off dash display to change out the 3 194's? also, how to get the heat/radio console off? i have a 97'. thanks

i just bought my 97 about 2 weeks ago. i had a hell of a time finding a 4runner. i used craigslist too. i knew every 4runner within 100 miles of me from all the used car websites. i kept missing them by like a day. it was real hard to find it. i actually found mine by accident. a friend...

i was gonna ask this myself. my bulb under the shifter is out too.

thats the first thing i did. i filled that sucker right up.

didn't check that yet. just noticed this last night.

on my 97' the rear window washer doesn't work. no fluid comes out at all. where should i start looking for the problem? the wiper works fine as well as the defroster. just the fluid doesn't come out.

so how tough for a novice mechanic...lol i found a step by step instructions with pics even on how to change it.

i just bought a 97 with 126,000 miles. i don't knw if the timing belt was ever changed. i bought it from a used lot. they said they don't know if it was. how much is this to do usually? also, what if i didn't do it? would could happen?

i have nothing planned for it yet. i just got it. it doesn't even need anything. i guess i'll have to see whats out there. it's pretty much a work vehicle and hunting/fishing rig. i know i want to add one of those deer carriers for the hitch.

i dont remember. next fill-up i'll keep track of amount. i was hoping to get better mgp from the 4runner then the 97 gmc jimmy i was driving. the fuel gauge was broke on the jimmy. but it had a 4.1 with a 18 gal tank. i could get 350 miles out of a tank of gas. i was hoping to better it...

cool, atleast i know its normal. i drive 150 miles a day for work. i fill up every other day.:(
