I ordered both Pacesetter manifolds for my 2004 V8. Good chance I will not be using these. I will be trading my Runner in instead. I have both manifolds with gaskets and cat flange hardware. I also have all the mounting studs, nuts, and factory manifold gaskets as well as the bolts for the heat...

I talked with 2 Dealers down here in Florida and they want nothing to do with it. So I called a dealership I used to do glass work for when i lived up north in NH. And if he is going to put the work in to get Toyota to OK replacing the frame then he wants to do the work. Which is only fair.

My frame is completely rusted/rotted. I have been fighting with Toyota for 2 years about replacing it. Now it looks like I finally have a dealership that will do it. Only problem is they are in New Hampshire and I live in Florida. So Its going to cost me about $1000 to get the vehicle shipped up...

At this point I am going to do one of two options. IF toyota decides to replace my frame I may have the dealer do the manifolds while the motor is out. Or trade it and I will sell all the manifold stuff on here. Right now I am leaning towards trading but I cant decide on what I want.

So I just spent 40 minutes on the drivers side. After 2 cycles this morning of heating up, soaking, letting cool down. I broke 1 ratchet, 2 extensions......and I think my finger. I also did 2 cycles last night. Im almost done my 2nd can of PB Blaster. Im pretty sure the manifolds are happy right...

Tomorrow I will be starting my manifold replacement. I am doing both. I bought factory bolts, nuts, and gaskets. Any tips, tricks, and words of advise ? I already started coating everything with PB blaster. I plan on running the motor for a little bit to get everything hot before I start...

Well the noise has died down a bit. I dont hear it as much, maybe Im getting used to it.....or all the other noises are drowning it out. anyway. It IS coming from under the console. And it almost sounds like my old Monte Carlo SS when the speedo cable went bad. But my speedometer does not bounce...

Yup. greased them 2 weeks ago when I developed a LOUD screeching noise. The pin the holds the rear brake shoes rusted in half and one of the cups the hold the spring got lodged in between the shoe and drum. Sounded like a bad u-joint at first.

I have some serious rust on my frame. My runner spent most of its life in New Hampshire/Maine. I have contacted Toyota several times and I always get the same response. "Your vehicle is out of warranty". I have heard several people on here say they have seen toyota replace frames on 4th gens. So...

Thanks Jeff. But I was hoping to hear from someone that might know what the ACTUAL mileage is. Not what the window sticker says I will get.
