Update
Hello Everyone!! its been a long time since I was on the forum. I work full time, I am going to school at night and run a photography business (William Van Stone Photography) on the weekends.
Anyway I just wanted to give everyone an update on my heated seats. I use them almost...
Is it possible just to take one seat out and still leave the covering material in place for that one seat? I would like to remove one sear and replace it with a security box or shelf.
No way. A refrigerator draws way too many amps. at best the inverter in your truck can put out 400 Watts which is 3.33 Amps (ohm's law)
Power / Volts = Amps
400W / 120 volts = 3.33 Amps
The average fridge draws at least 10 amps or more.

When you cut the wires make sure you...
Part 4(a) Trail harness setup
Ok if you own a Trail you can use the whole wire harness - 82223-35060. You will still need to cut 4 wires on this harness. It seems like the Trail has a base harness system that is closer to the Limited than to the SR5.
I own an SR5 and had to cut all 12 wires...
16 is the correct number if you want to do both seats. One sub-controller will take 8. Yea the price of these things just SUCKS!!!
Remember I took a big chance buying all this stuff hoping I could get it to work. At first I only got enough parts to do one side.
