Have you guys had rust issues with the exhaust manifold on your V6s? My passenger side is really rusted, not an issue at this point but wondering if an issue is eminent. I'm assuming cost to replace would be more than 2k so I'm holding out hope that it remains together.

I have had the same issue starting at 90k miles with bearings. Luckily that's the only issue I have had with it.

Thanks for the info guys. I decided to have the mechanic do the work. The noise is significantly reduced but the steer now seems really sensitive. I don't know if this is in my head though. Is there any reason the steering might feel more touchy?

Thanks. My quote was exactly the same as yours $430 for the parts and 2 1/2 hours of labor. Luckily I have the V6 which I believe is a timing chain so I don't have to deal with the cost of replacing that luckily. I'm hoping to get many more years out of this truck...
