For those reading this over a decade later, this is wrong. If running in series, it is best practice to run the external trans cooler after the radiator.

You aren't alone. Mine does the same thing. I plan to replace the control arm bushings with poly bushings very soon. I hope this helps. Have you ever replaced your control arm bushings to try and fix the abnormal tire wear?

That is a week worth of work for two guys if neither have completed those tasks before.

Factory bushings are rubber, softer than poly bushings. Rubber makes for a softer ride but less precise control of the control arm, particular when performing and keeping an accurate front end alignment. Poly bushings last longer at the cost of ride quality is my understanding.

What size hog rings are used on the seats? Any recommendations for a good brand of hog ring pliers?

Thanks for the info! One important bit of info I didn't find, what are your measurements from center of hub up to the top of the wheel well opening? People say this is about a 1.5" lift but with so many variable stock heights through the years it becomes unclear. Thanks again.

FYI - The piston sizes of 231 and 199 are identical, I measured them myself. My point is, the braking forces are the same for 231 and 199. The major difference is the amount of thermal mass when comparing 199 to 231.
